Position/Title: Biometrics Analyst

Reports to: Director of Ground Operations

Location: 1616 Fort Myer Drive Suite 1600 Arlington, VA 22209

Salary: $80,000-$90,000 annually

A. General

​

This is a full-time, nightshift, FLSA exempt position that will report to The Director of Ground Operations and work closely with all other teams in the operations department to support assimilation of biometrics data. The Biometrics Analyst I will provide support for the collection, organization, implementation, documentation, and integration of a newly designed biometrics operation. The three (3) functional areas are: (1) analysis and integration (2) QA/QC, reporting and documentation which support the organization’s ability to ensure efficiency, accountability, and accuracy (3) implementation, creation and execution of the information and systems that support biometrics operations with accurate analysis, review, surveillance, and automation.

B. Duties and Responsibilities:

​

• Provides ongoing QA/QC of biometrics data from multiple data sets.

• Coordinate biometric activities between government, contractors, and vendors.

• Analyzes problems, identifies significant factors, gathers, and interprets pertinent data.

• Applies established rules and procedures to develop and recommend effective solutions.

• Provides expert level QA/QC analysis while addressing diverse, complex issues which often cross multiple programs or functional areas.

• Establishes regulatory processes which support a new business segment.

• Provides daily/weekly/monthly reporting to support and inform mission briefings.

• Document and tracks all relevant data, to include anomalies, variances, and irregularities.

• Conduct and implement training operational staff on biometrics technologies, specifically intake and processing fingerprint, iris, and face modalities.

• Exercises control over fingerprint functions, and facial recognition software including classification, identification, record keeping, and filing activities.

• Track the individual traveler’s data review status in Power BI, MS Excel, and Salesforce.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

C. Skills and Qualifications

​

• To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience.

• Proven experience and proficiency with the use of data visualization tools. Power Business Intelligence (BI), Structured query language (SQL), Microsoft Excel

• Proven experience using equations, formulas, statistical tools, and other mathematical methods to analyze and interpret data.

• Demonstrable skills using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software required, Salesforce experience highly preferred.

• Strong familiarity with biometric automated toolset database; experience in integrating fingerprint, iris scanning, and facial recognition technology; knowledge in interagency identity detection equipment systems; skilled in process improvement.

• Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to build strong customer and external relationships.
