Salary: $110,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year

Overview:
​
Nirbhau Management Corporation is seeking an Operations Officer to staff a 24x7 operations
center for a mission-critical and highly visible U.S. Government project. The candidate will manage the
receipt, verification, organization, and dissemination of identity information. The Operations Officer
requires daily interaction with forward deployed teams, management, security personnel, and
government personnel with other federal agencies. Applicant must be a meticulous, positive, flexible,
and driven self-starter requiring minimal direct supervision, and able to thrive in this fast-paced
environment. Exceptional technical, communication and interpersonal skills are a necessity, including
the ability to effectively communicate via written and verbal media. This position functions as part of
a team with a sense of ownership and dedication to the mission. Incumbent shall supervise and
coordinate outreach efforts to meet the daily flight schedule.

General
​
This is a full-time FLSA exempt position, that will report to the Director of Outreach Operations and
will work closely with all outreach operations staff.
​
Duties and Responsibilities:
​
​• You would be responsible for facilitating the successful air operations and on-ground trip
logistics for an international travel program.
• You will own the coordination of local/international, in-country operators regarding all
logistics, extra arrangements, special considerations, trip details, etc.
• You will own the development of correspondence, task orders, instructions, and directives
necessary to ensure effective communication, delivery, and implementation of all assigned
outreach activities.
• You will establish and maintain liaison with all activities, organizations and commands directly
involved with the introduction, maintenance, and support of outreach operations.
• You will provide advice and guidance to internal and external stakeholders on a wide range of
outreach operations issues.
• You will ensure all program requirements have proper support for relevant systems, tasks, and
other departments (i.e., medical, ground/air operations) throughout the mission life cycle.
• You will ensure the mission requirements for availability, reliability, sustainment, and logistic
operations support contractual deadlines
• You will coordinate with overseas vendors to manage import/export activities in order to meet
service level expectations.
• You will assist in managing passenger services and custom activities for import/export
services.
• You will inform leadership and own the communication of changes, shipment issues, and
mission-related concerns to respective personnel and team in timely manner.
• You will Identify opportunities for manual task reduction, material flow improvement, and
business development.
• You will review, create, and maintain mission requirements on all import/export activities
including task order management, passengers, logistics, and shipping.
• You will ensure that logistics activities and processes are operated in accordance with local,
state, federal and United States Customs and Border Protection regulations.

Qualifications:
​
• Self-directed, detail oriented in completing assigned tasks, able to adapt to changing work
efforts and manage the impact of shifting priorities.• A minimum of 3 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in logistics management, business,
or a related discipline; or 5+ years of logistics experience (Can be substituted for military
experience).
• Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to
the pay band NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the
private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying a
wide range of integrated logistics principles to support the acquisition and/or Life Cycle
Sustainment Management of integrated passenger/import/export support functions.
• Significant experience with lifecycle logistics management at DHS, DoD, or other civilian
agency. CBP experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated acquisition and lifecycle management experience with flight operations, border
enforcement, or other federal civilian acquisition/capital investment program.
• Demonstrated experience in Integrated Logistics Support principles.
• DHS or DAWIA logistics certification is strongly desired.
• Experience with the application of analytics to solve logistics, sustainment and readiness
challenges is a plus.
• Possess strong managerial experience and oversee the successful implementation of outreach
operations processes.
• Ability to communicate clearly with a wide variety of stakeholders orally and in writing.
• Possess the ability to be flexible in a fast-paced environment.
• Possess strong organizational skills to enable working with project teams, service providers and
various stakeholders.
• Ability to think strategically, the ability to identify foreseeable logistical issues, and provide
leadership with viable solutions in a timely manner.
• Must exude an initiative-based mentality and have the self-confidence to receive constructive
feedback.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), SharePoint, MS Teams, and
Salesforce required.
